We cooked stuffed bell peppers! They were amazing. I need to post the recipe soon.

When Cortney and I were leaving church this morning I noticed a bird sitting in the parking lot.  We sat down next to the bird and he didn’t move at all.  I pulled one of his baby feathers off his back and he didn’t seem to mind.  I finally decided to see if he was injured and when I touched him the bird ran off squawking.

Driving out of the parking lot we noticed a big turtle in the road and by the time we turned around to help him, he had made it back to the side of the road.  I picked him up and carried him away from the road and closer to water.

Cortney and I made Japanese shrimp sauce, rice, chicken, and asparagus for lunch.
