Cortney and I went to Liberty Baptist Church to see Scott Cates this morning.
On the way I noticed someone had some cool sculptures in their back yard.

We drove threw Clayton and I found the Triforce at Clayton Food Mart!

On the way home we saw a guy on a motorcycle with his shirt about to blow off.

I also got an awesome speeding ticket!

Well, we get out to the car this morning and… FLAT TIRE!  I changed the flat tire to the little donut spare tire we had.  We drove down to Toccoa Wal-mart and they patched it.  BUT I FOUND AN AWESOME TENT ON CLEARANCE!!!

After all the fun, we finally made it back to camp and they were just finishing lunch.  There wasn’t anything for us to do other than watch the children do their thing.  Cortney and I sat on the front pourch of the kitchen and talked most of the day.  I walked down a few times and watched the kids swim and fish at the lake.

Cortney and I left Thursday afternoon and headed up to stay with her grandmother in Washington, GA. We got up this morning and went to the Robert Toombs House Historic Site a block down the road.

There was a big freaking tree log that big black ants were hollowing the inside out of.

Cortney and I in front of the… liberty bell? well, it had a big freaking crack in it.

I started to wonder about the $3.00 I had to pay after I saw that “5 AND UNER” was “FREE”.

I told Cortney it was a bad idea to take pictures of me disassembling the fireplace.

But the place had a wreath made of HUMAN HAIR! This should be their main attraction.

And then there was this awesome guy in not so shining armor.

These journals were made out of a whole tree each. They were freaking huge and heavy.

Then we hit the road for Camp Cocoon in Tallulah Falls. Cortney is in charge of activites and I am a floater and “security”.  I drove a golf cart around making sure things got from point A to B most of the day. I even helped move film equipment for a crew from the Barney show that came out to film. Andy Offut Irwin put on a show for everyone at camp and he was GREAT with the kids. Unfortunately, one of the kids got snake bit by a copperhead shortly after arriving at camp.  We stopped and checked out the bike trail in Tallulah Gorge State Park.

Me looking down at the water and sharp rocks below the bridge on the bike trail.

Tonight we are staying at Days Inn in Toccoa and heading back to camp in the morning. Of course, the first hotel room we got… the hot water didn’t work in it… haha.
