2005 FLHTCUI 3203.00

Same scam slight variant but essentially the same format.

Craigslist, Salem, OR...
2005 Harley Ultra Classic FLHTCUI 3203.00

I sent last night...

Ok, price is too good to be true. What's the deal or what's wrong with it?

for $3203.00 I'm interested.

-----------------------------------------------
Answer from Seller....

 Hello xxxxxxx,
My name is Jane, and I'm emailing you about the Harley-Davidson I have for sale. The bike is in perfect condition, with no need for any additional repairs. Flawless condition, no scratches and no dents. It has never been involved in an accident. The mileage is 16,493, with an 1,450 cc engine size. It has a clear title with no loans or liens on it. The price was reduced at $3,200 as I need to sell the bike before the 15th of May when I will be leaving with my platoon back to Afghanistan, so I don't want it getting old in my backyard.
If you have any other questions, or need more info, please feel free to ask.

Thank you,
Jane

-----------------------------------------------------------
I sent....

Hi Jane,
I'll buy it for your asking price 3200.00.
I have cash in hand and am available whenever you are.

----------------------------------------------------------------
I sent this morning...

I see your ad is gone. Did you sell it already?

--------------------------------------------------------------
Answer from seller....

"Right now I am at the military base getting ready for Afghanistan. This means that I am doing a special training and I am not allowed to get out of the unit. The bike is already at the shipping company in Topeka KS sealed and ready for the shipping.
My presence won't be necessary because I prearranged the deal with eBay.
The deal includes free delivery and it will arrive at your address in 3 days. You will have 5 days to test it and inspect the bike prior to making any purchase and if by any reason you find something you don't like about it you can send it back at my expense.
If you are interested in knowing more info about how it works, i can ask eBay to send you an email with more information on how to purchase it.
eBay will contact you shortly after they have the details with all the information that you need to complete this deal and you will also have proof that I am covered by them and a legitimate seller.
If you would like to receive the email from eBay will all the transaction information please reply with your full name, and address plus ph# and they will contact you right away.

Regards"

Hey Darren, thanks a million.

With this I can actually help feed poor people. Whether or not FreeRice is some-sort of scam or not, without any effort involved, except paying my electricity bill, I can at least provide some hungry people some sort of provision at the end of the day. I really appreciate you for all your help. I hope you live happy and with pleasure and satisfaction for the rest of your life.

Sincerly,
Plutose

I have a Presario 5360 - been in the family for probably close to 8 or 9 years. It's now my file and print server, stuffed with 3 hard drives (including the original 10 GB BigFoot!) and a DVD-RW drive, running Windows 2000. I would like Windows XP, but it wants nothing to do with the terrible SiS 530 chipset in this system.

Nice to see what it would have looked like new, with the CPU sticker, the promotional sticker, and the door that hides the 5.25" bays!
