I needed the number of the week in a year (1-52) for a page I created in Classic ASP (VBScript). I didn’t know of a function to give me what I was looking for and after some googling I still couldn’t find a good solution. I finally figured out a good way to get it.
currentDate = Date
weekNumber = DatePart("ww", currentDate)


I needed to know if it was an even or odd week
IF weekNumber MOD 2 = 1 THEN
'odd week
ELSE
'even week
END IF
