Do you own ASGV.org and VetsPride.com, or how is Pocket Pets associated with them?
We are very aware of the latest web of ‘conspiracy theories’ that the Internet chat rooms have concocted about our supposed involvement with the ASGV and Vets Pride organizations – and as usual, they are nothing more than a pathetic attempt by a handful of lonely people who are desperately trying to hold onto their relevance in their online ‘worlds” where they are looked up to as “experts”.

This is nothing new. In fact, what really happens whenever they do this kind of thing is that there is a very small handful of self-proclaimed experts out there on the Internet who repeatedly post a wide range of lies and conspiracy theories about our company – using multiple screen names – on the same 2 or 3 chat rooms – and then you have a ‘ripple effect’ of the blind leading the blind repeating utter lies and nonsense. It’s a lot like that “telephone” game we all played when we were kids – except these misguided individuals are so desperate for attention that they have absolutely no regard for the truth or facts.

The bottom line is we could not care less about these nuts- and their claims are both pathetic and silly. Our only involvement with the ASGV is that we have worked for years with many of the top sugar glider vets in the world who are all members of that organization. We get all our care and dietary advice from the best vets in the world – and we will never apologize to anyone for that.

Now, not surprisingly, these same wackos don’t agree with any of these vets either. Therefore, they must immediately try everything they can to trash them as well. That being said, we’re not even going to waste one sentence comparing the qualifications of licensed veterinarians against a handful of unlicensed Internet “experts (who themselves have never raised more than a few pairs of these animals).

If these Internet wackos are to be believed, we have supposedly gathered together literally HUNDREDS of veterinarians from all over the world – and bribed them to say whatever we want them to. Obviously, that is completely insane – but the truth simply does not matter to these individuals.

In fact, these same wackos recently even went so far as to anonymously file fraudulent corporate documents online with the state of Florida in a lame attempt to make it look like we own both the companies you mentioned. Quite frankly, our attorneys are having a hay-day with that one – because it proves – in black and white – just how desperate these nuts are to bash anyone who disagrees with them – and that they will even go so far as to try and trash the reputations of Veterinarians who have dedicated their entire lives to helping animals. The mere idea that anyone could somehow bribe hundreds of licensed veterinarians to lie and publish information about caring for ANY animal that would harm it is beyond ridiculous – but these nuts have never been constrained by the truth before – so why start now. Next thing you know, pretty soon we will have also planned 9/11 and hired the 2nd gunman who shot Kennedy…. It’s all quite pathetic and sad really.

In any event, all we can tell you is that to be VERY careful of the sources where you got such misguided information. If you have ANY doubts about what we say as far as care and diet, we suggest you watch the official ASGV educational video series (at www.ASGV.org) and then make whatever decision you feel is best for you and your gliders.
